Britney has another baby boy
Washington, Sept 13: Popstar Britney Spears has given birth to her second child, a son at a Los Angeles hospital.

The 'Toxic' singer gave birth to the six pound, 11 ounce baby boy just before 2am in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Britney's father, Jamie, told the TV tabloid that he had already seen the new baby boy, reports Eonline!

Spears,24, and Federline, 28, already have a son, Sean Preston, who was born in Sept. 14 last year. For Federline, the new arrival is his fourth child. He also has a daughter Kori, 4, and son Kaleb, 2, with actress Shar Jackson.

Britney had announced her latest pregnancy in May on 'the Late Show with David Letterman'. In June, she showed off her pregnancy, bare stomach and all, on the cover of Harper's Bazaar. She had also revealed earlier that the pregnancy wasn't planned, and that she was not prepared for it.

The singer's first year as a mother was marked by various controversies.

In February, the "Oops I did it again" singer was scrutinized for driving an SUV with son Sean Preston on her lap. In April, she and Federline were quizzed about a reputed head injury to the baby. No formal investigation was opened, and the couple were not deemed responsible for the injury said to have occurred in an accidental fall from a high chair.
