The Indian wishing cow!

A penthouse apartment, a luxury car, a vacation in France and lots of money, the wish list is never ending. But if they are fulfilled, how would you thank God? Well there is the wishing well system that has been tried and tested for many as many centuries, but if you want to be different try letting a herd of cows run over you! Well a tribe in central India does exactly that on the annual festival of Gai Gori. A herd of cows is prepared for the task, men from the tribe, lie face down on the ground and the herd is let loose over them. Can't imagine them lying facing the sky! The herd of cows - squash, trample and pound them with all their might. And the men take it all practically lying down, all in the name of gratitude! And those whose wholeness or holiness is still left, demand a second helping by lying there for a repeat performance! Well, you know, no pain, no gain.
